I've always liked the idea of a barn find. Taking a trip into the country and stumbling across a shed full of vintage motorcycles. Loading up the truck and driving away into the sunset with my tray full of loot.

Snap back to reality, the interwebs has made it increasingly difficult for this to happen. Today's barnfind is the winning bidder on an ebay auction.

PS. If anyone reading this has a vintage motorcycle sitting in their barn that they don't want.. message me.. thanks.

Tour De France

Well while the tour is on I thought it was only fitting to find a custom shop out of the capital Paris.Being in Australia the tour airs in the wee hours of the morning, I've probably averaged about 5-6 …Anyway enough of the non-motorised 2 wheelers, this Honda CX500 was built by Rive Gauche, I couldn't find too much info on the shop itself but they do have the Motto "Ride or Die".

But now they've taken what the previous owner called _"just a f\*&@'n Yamaha"_ which was a half cut 79 XS650 …I really like the lines on this bike, the exhausts run parallel with the tail piece, and the whitespace between the seat and the frame really opens it up to more of a higher riding position than the traditional bobber.
