A couple of new bits

Scrounging around on the weekend and managed to pickup a straight RX125 tank. Doesn't have the key though so will have to see if I can pop it with a screwdriver.

A couple of new bits

Scrounging around on the weekend and managed to pickup a straight RX125 tank. Doesn't have the key though so will have to see if I can pop it with a screwdriver. A locksmith crossed my mind but last time I had a quote of them they wanted my first born child as a down payment.

It's a shame I hadn't found this earlier else I could have used this on the legbreaker as it was in way better condition than the original.

Also picked up a set of bars, thought they may have come off a BSA or something of the similar era?

Triumph Strambler

BENNY LSG

I would probably describe this bike as a **Strambler**! def: Cross between a Street Tracker and Scrambler, the seat and rear has somewhat of a Scrambler feel with the side plates, tyres and bars giving it more of a Tracker …Found this Triumph over on and was initially drawn to the matt black tank with the gloss triumph logo, along with the kind of suede leather seat. Also like the mag wheels and the chromed side covers and the 2 into 1 exhaust setup.

Project Tonka - Blast and Paint

BENNY LSG

All the body work is complete and I spent an afternoon pulling everything apart ready for the sandblaster. Because the client had decided on stainless spokes I ended up cutting the rusted old ones to make removing the hubs easier.
