New website who dis?

You know what they say, a change is as good as a holiday. Unfortunately, I can't remember what one of those holiday things felt like, but if resembles something like... no more server maintenance, no more database upgrades, no more mail delivery issues then, yes that change sounds pretty sweet.

I figured it was time for Lanesplitter Garage's website to get put in for an overdue service. It has always been on the todo list but it always ended up getting postponed due to life. The old website had served it's purpose but it gradually ended up soaking up a few hours that I didn't want to spend doing. As it was all custom built and self hosted all that kind of infrastructure work became a bit of a chore.

I've moved the site to another platform which will reduce my support time and more importantly help improve the experience for those that use the site. It'll be a smoother checkout experience with the addition of other payment options using stripe. All this time savings will allow me to work on some new projects, new products and ideas I have for LSG.

At the moment there's 10% all orders if you sign up to the newsletter. But if you've already signed up and let me see what I can do :).

I'd love to know what you think so feel free to shoot me a message about any suggestions!

And finally I hope everyone has been safe and well over this crazy period of time.

Cheers

Benny
